What is TEFRA and What Does it Provide for My Child with Disabilities?

6:30 CT / 5:30 MT

The Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act (TEFRA) and Medicaid provide additional coverage and disability services such as Personal Care Attendants to people with disabilities. The parental fee for TEFRA has ended, making it available to more families. Discover what Medical Assistance and TEFRA offer for children with disabilities and how to access services through the MN Choices Assessment, the State Medical Review Team (SMRT), and how to qualify for Consumer Support Grant (CSG) and consumer-directed community supports (CDCS).
