Transition-To-Adulthood Learning Session

Families in Vermillion, Yankton, and surrounding areas — this session is for YOU!

Are you a parent, caregiver, or youth (ages 14–21) with a disability? Want to better understand the IEP transition planning process and what it means for the future?

Join us for this interactive and informative event designed to support both youth and their families as they prepare for adulthood.

Youth will learn to:

  • build strong relationships and connections
  • set goals based on their strengths and needs
  • understand how the IEP supports their future
  • connect with agencies and access support


Parents & family members will learn to:

  • support their young adult’s growing independence
  • teach and encourage self-advocacy
  • make positive, realistic future plans
  • navigate systems and connect with agencies
