Neurodiversity and Sleep Problems
Children with developmental differences often have secondary problems with sleep. Self-regulation difficulties during the day often carry over into the night. Trouble falling asleep and staying asleep are common; not just with medical problems, but also with ADHD, anxiety, autism, and other types of neurodiversity. Medications can both help and hurt. Join Parent Child Journey and other parents to discuss how to manage sleep challenges. A little extra rest would be a good thing for your child – and you!
