Families using any Avera service may apply for assistance through the statewide Avera Foundation which supports needed services, provides life-saving medications, lodging to be near loved ones, transportation, and many needed educational programs and materials. The cases are assessed on a case-by-case basis. It is a one-time approval. Request information from an Avera Social Worker.
