This program helps eligible families maintain employment when there are challenges in obtaining quality, affordable, childcare for their child (under age 19) with special needs. These families often do not meet eligibility requirements of the regular childcare assistance program. A limited number of slots are available statewide at any one time; eligible families will be placed on a waiting list until an opening occurs.
