DESCRIPTION:  \n \nSouth Dakota Parent Connection is proud to co-sponsor the 17th Annual Lighting the Way Autism Conference\, a two-day event focused on supporting individuals with autism and those who care for them. This conference is appropriate for parents/caregivers\, self-advocates\, educators and school staff\, service providers\, community members\, and professionals supporting individuals with autism (Earn Graduate Credit or CEUs). \nThis year’s theme\, “Autism: What Now? Moving Forward Together\,” brings families\, educators\, and professionals together to learn practical strategies\, build connections\, and explore resources that support success across the lifespan. \nKeynote Speakers\n\nJesse Horn – Autism self-advocate\, international sport stacking champion\, and motivational speaker\, sharing his personal journey and strategies for growth\nDavid Geslak\, ACSM-EP\, CSCS – Founder of Exercise Connection and global leader in autism fitness and movement-based supports\n\nBreakout Session Topics Include\n\nAutism basics\nEducation and assistive technology\nTransitions to adulthood\nGuardianship and services\nMusic therapy\nSocial and emotional supports\nSleep\, nutrition\, and feeding therapies\nCollaboration and partnerships\nand more\n\n  \nUse this LINK to learn more or register for the conference. \nSouth Dakota Parent Connection is again offering scholarships to parents that will help with the conference cost.
