Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts\, connect with colleagues from across the state\, and explore current topics related to transition services. \nSouth Dakota Parent Connection staff will be presenting a breakout session focused on getting ahead of behavior concerns in the classroom. This session will explore proactive strategies that help educators understand the reasons behind challenging behaviors\, build positive relationships with students\, create supportive learning environments\, and address concerns before they become larger issues.
