Are you helping a teenager with a disability prepare for life after high school? Join us for this resource fair, a free event for families from Sioux Falls and surrounding communities who have youth ages 15–21 with disabilities.

This event will provide information, resources, and connections to help families better understand the transition-to-adulthood process. Families will have the opportunity to learn from experts, ask questions, and visit with local organizations that support youth and adults with disabilities.

Topics will include guardianship, Vocational Rehabilitation services, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits, transition services for youth ages 15–21, adult services available after age 21, and ways to plan for the future. Whether your child is just beginning to think about life after high school or is getting close to graduation, this event can help you learn about the next steps and available resources.

Meet Local and State Resource Providers:

  • South Dakota Parent Connection
  • Vocational Rehabilitation
