Families Together Support Group, Virtual

South Dakota Parent Connection is happy to offer this statewide support group for parents and guardians of children, youth, and young adults with disabilities. Families may join virtually or attend in person at either South Dakota Parent Connection office.

This group is a safe and welcoming place to learn, share, and connect with other families who understand your journey.

Each month, we will host a one-hour support group that includes a short learning session on a helpful topic, followed by time for open discussion and sharing with other parents. You can participate from the comfort of your home or join us at one of these locations:

Sioux Falls Office
3701 W. 49th St., Suite 102
Sioux Falls, SD

Rapid City Office
2310 North Maple Avenue
Rapid City, SD

You can ask questions, learn new ideas, and connect with others who are facing similar challenges.

By joining, you will:

  • Learn about a topic related to disabilities.
  • Receive helpful ideas and resources you can use right away.
  • Find support and encouragement by connecting with parents and guardians who have similar experiences.

September’s Topic: Having Crucial Conversations—Preparing for Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences

Please register to attend this month’s support group HERE. When registering, please tell us whether you plan to participate virtually or in person.
