South Dakota Parent Connection is happy to offer this virtual statewide support group for parents and guardians of children, youth, and young adults with disabilities.
This group is a safe and welcoming place to learn, share, and connect with other families who understand your journey.
Join this virtual resource from the comfort of your home. Each month, we will host a one-hour support group that includes a short learning session on a helpful topic, followed by time for open discussion and sharing with other parents.
You can ask questions, learn new ideas, and connect with others who are facing similar challenges.
By joining, you will:
- Learn about a topic related to disabilities.
- Receive helpful ideas and resources they can use right away.
- Find support and encouragement by connecting with other parents and guardians who have similar experiences.
April’s topic will be Autism 101: Understanding Challenging Behavior.
