Back-to-School Resource Fair, Rapid City Area

Children with backpacks walk out of a school during the Rapid City Area Back to School Fair, beside a banner for South Dakota ParentConnection.

South Dakota Parent Connection is excited to host the Rapid City Area Back-to-School Fair! This free event brings together families and community organizations to help everyone get ready for a successful school year.

Families will have the opportunity to learn about services and supports available in the Rapid City area, visit with other parents, and connect with organizations dedicated to helping children and families. In addition to information and resources, there will be free screenings, bingo, prizes, and fun activities for families to enjoy.

South Dakota Parent Connection has invited a variety of family support agencies and community organizations to participate in the fair. Representatives from these agencies, along with SDPC staff, will be available to answer questions, share information, and connect families with resources that can support their child’s learning, development, health, and well-being.

Whether you are preparing for a child’s first day of school or looking for helpful community resources, we invite you to join us for a fun and informative afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there!

For questions about the resource fair or if you are interested in being a vendor at this event, please contact South Dakota Parent Connection at (605) 361-3171 or sdpcp@sdparent.org.
