Community Connections
SDPC is unique in that it serves children with all disabilities; learning, physical, emotional, mental and health. No other organization in South Dakota offers this broad range of service to families. SDPC also works in coalition with a variety of disability organizations.Many of SDPC's board members are parent representatives from the coalition organizations.
SDPC's vision is to be the information and referral resource of choice for families in addressing the unique needs of their children.
Parent Training and Information
SDPC is South Dakota's Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) for families of children and youth with all disabilities from birth through 26 years old. Located in Sioux Falls and Rapid City, it serves families across the state. .Parents can find publications, workshops, and other resources to help make decisions about education, vocational training, employment, and other services for their children with disabilities.
