SDPC has several programs, so chances are there is something to fit your needs. SDPC helps a wide variety of families and professionals on local, state, and national levels every day. All SDPC staff are parents of children with disabilities themselves who understand what you are experiencing and are ready to help you help your child.
South Dakota Parent Connection is part of two national networks, the ALLIANCE and Family Voices, which promote the partnership of families, professionals and advocates for the involvement of families as valued decision makers in their children's lives.
How SDPC Can Help?
- Individual Assistance is provided over the phone and in-person to families who have questions about their child's needs
- Workshops for parents and professionals take place on an ongoing basis throughout South Dakota
- Resources such as printed publications and online materials are available on a variety of relevant topics
